37401 was used for a running day to celebrate the 30th Birthday of one of the lads who are part of the group that owns 37025, with all proceeds from the day going towards its ongoing mainline certification.

Having not sampled Mary since it was reactivated by the team at Bo’ness, we decided to make the trip up. The day started off dull and overcast and eventually brightened up.

For the penultimate trip, there was a lucky break in the cloud meaning we got a photo in the low winter sunshine. The photo may look over saturated, but this is what ‘401 really looks like…
